Luce Project

Luce Project is a multidisciplinary project that blends food, nature, arts and crafts sharing one purpose: to explore, to experiment, to educate, to research a specific idea of an artisanal kitchen based on the observation of nature and inspired by history and the search for knowledge.

Food is the core element, from which everything originates and to which everything is connected.

Nature is the condition where Luce is immersed. An open-air pantry able to educate and stimulate us.

Arts and crafts are the human engine. Without them, we would suffer the loss of beauty and wisdom.

Spazio Luce

A creative culinary space within the walls of an old bar, along a scenic mountain road. A year-round multidisciplinary workshop that is able to transform itself into a lively tavern during the warm months. Here, we can imagine, contaminate, research, transform, produce, share. "Lugo" means "clearing". In ancient Roman times, a clearing in the woods, where it was possible to see the sky, was called lucus, a term that originates from the same Paleo-European root as the Greek adjective leukós, meaning “white”, and the Latin noun luxmeaning "light", from which comes the geographical oronym Luxinum, and finally the term "Lessini Mountains".

a.1 Taverna

A seasonally open tavern where you can stop by for a breakfast, a refreshing lunch or an afternoon “merenda” looking at the mountains. Our dinner, instead, will be a curated, reservation-only experience with limited seats in a shared table and with a new set menu every single day.

a.2 Cucina allargata

We love to work by contaminating ourselves, embracing projects and adventures that foster our growth. We offer caterings, private chef services, events, tailor made dinners, workshop experiences, cooking classes, consultations and collaborations.

a.3 Laboratorio

In our lab we experiment, we research, we produce and we transform, we cook and offer gastronomic delicacies on request. We offer our own line of goods, too. Furthermore, we organize classes and formative events with artisans, producers, colleagues and friends.

Casa Luce

In a small hamlet on the western side of the Lessinia Mountains, there is a stone building full of light that we imagined calling home. Not as exclusive possession, but as the restored nucleus of a local community. Once we complete the recovery and restoration process, Casa Luce will open its Kitchen, Rooms, and Garden to anyone who wants to experience them.
